Packing Checklist

Apartment Listing

Packing for a specific trip depends a lot on the place that you are traveling to. For example, some places are hot while others are cold; and you would need to pack your clothes accordingly. You cannot have standard lists for personal items and clothing. Packing lists also vary depending on local locations and international ones.

However, before you start packing, always make a list of things that you would need on your trip. If you do not have the patience, then simply get on to the internet and look for a readymade list. Strike out all the things that you would not need from the list and pack the items that you have not struck out. You can even get a gender based list on the internet.

Keep a separate pouch for your toiletries and make sure everything on the list goes into the pouch like the tooth brush and toothpaste for example.

Here is a brief packing checklist and use this to cross check if you have packed everything before your scheduled departure.

Travel documents: Without these you cannot even travel. Make sure you have put them safely and in a place where you can remove them easily without dislodging other packed items. Travel documents would include everything from money to passport to tickets.

Toiletries: If you are going to go camping in the mountains, then there would be no stores to get them. So it is better you have them packed. Toiletries include soap, shampoo, razor, shaving foam, toothbrush, toothpaste, toilet paper, facial tissues, creams, lotions, suntan lotion and feminine products

Clothes: These depend on how long you are going to stay and what you would need in the mean time. Coordinate your clothes and carry jeans and shorts and lots of t-shirts.

Medicines: Check if you have a small first aid kit with you.

Miscellaneous: This would include your camera, extra film roll, and any thing else that you might require during your travel.
